Return Policy

We hope you are completely satisfied with your order, but if for any reason you wish to return it, please note the following:

(1) Returns of physical products

Due to the nature of vintage/secondhand clothing, products may show signs of wear or have minor imperfections. All product descriptions clearly highlight minor defects, and the photos also show these.

We do NOT offer returns or refunds for the following reasons:

Delayed delivery due to external influences
You no longer need the product
Loss or damage by the shipping service provider

Only regularly priced items can be refunded or returned. Unfortunately, sale items cannot be refunded.

Right of withdrawal

You have the right to withdraw from this contract within 14 days without giving any reason. The withdrawal period is 14 days from the day on which you or a third party named by you, who is not the carrier, took possession of the goods.

To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must inform us (VintageBambi, c/o Katharina Fuchs, vintagebambi@web.de) of your decision by means of a clear statement (e.g., by email). You can use the sample withdrawal form attached below, but this is not mandatory.

To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient for you to send your notification of exercising your right of withdrawal before the withdrawal period expires.

Please note that consumers outside the EU do not have a right of withdrawal. The right of withdrawal only applies to consumers in the EU and certain countries of the European Economic Area (EEA).

Consequences of withdrawal

If you withdraw from this contract, we will refund all payments we have received from you, including delivery costs (except for additional costs resulting from your choice of a type of delivery other than the cheapest standard delivery offered by us). The refund will be made immediately, but no later than 14 days from the day on which we receive notification of your withdrawal. We will use the same means of payment for this refund as you used for the original transaction, unless expressly agreed otherwise. Under no circumstances will we charge you any fees for the refund.

We may refuse to refund until we have received the goods back or you have provided proof that you have returned the goods, whichever is earlier.

You must return the goods immediately and in any case no later than 14 days from the day on which you notified us of your withdrawal from this contract. The deadline is met if you send the goods before the 14-day period expires. You bear the direct costs of returning the goods. You are only liable for any loss in value of the goods resulting from handling that was not necessary for testing the condition, properties, and functionality of the goods. Items must be returned unworn and unwashed with the original labels. Returns that do not meet these requirements may be rejected and returned to you.

(2) Right of withdrawal for consumers in contracts for the use of digital content (applies to sewing patterns)

Consumers have a statutory 14-day right of withdrawal for distance contracts (contracts in which the entrepreneur or a person acting on their behalf or on their behalf and the consumer use only means of distance communication for the contract negotiations and the conclusion of the contract).
A consumer within the meaning of § 13 BGB (German Civil Code) is any natural person who enters into a legal transaction for purposes that are predominantly neither commercial nor their independent professional activity.

(3) Expiration of the right of withdrawal

In accordance with Section 356 (5) of the German Civil Code (BGB), the right of withdrawal expires if the seller, in this case VintageBambi, has begun to execute the contract (e.g., by providing the download link) after you

• have expressly agreed that we may begin executing the contract before the expiry of the right of withdrawal period, and
• have confirmed that you are aware that by agreeing to the commencement of the execution of the contract, you lose your right of withdrawal.

Your right of withdrawal expires as soon as we have begun to perform the contract, e.g. as soon as you download or use a digital product.
